Yakiudon is very similar to Yasai Itame (stir-fried vegetables), but it is a more filling meal cooking with Udon noodles. Bahan Yakiudon
- Diperlukan 100-150 g of Pork *thinly sliced.
- Gunakan 1/2 of Onion.
- Sediakan 1/2 of Carrot.
- Siapkan 3-4 leaves of Cabbage.
- Gunakan 1 tablespoon of Oil.
- Siapkan of Salt & Pepper.
- Sediakan of Cooked Udon Noodles 2 servings.
- Gunakan of Okaka/Katsuobushi (Bonito Flakes) *optional.
- Sediakan of Spring Onion *finely chopped, optional.
- Siapkan of <Sauce>.
- Diperlukan 1 teaspoon of Dashi Powder.
- Sediakan 2-3 tablespoons of Soy Sauce.
- Diperlukan 2 tablespoons of Sake (Rice Wine) OR Water.
As with Yasaiitame, you can use any leftover vegetables you have in your fridge. Typical meat you use in Yakiudon is thinly sliced pork or beef, but a different cut of meat works. Yaki Udon (焼きうどん) is a Japanese undon noodles stir-fried with your choice of protein and vegetables. Your protein can be thinly sliced meat or any seafood suitable for stir-frying.
Cara memasak Yakiudon
- Prepare all vegetables and pork. Cut vegetables into strips and slice Pork thinly..
- Prepare Udon Noodles according to the instruction on the package. If you use already cooked Udon noodles, soak in hot water to loosen, then drain well..
- Make sauce by mixing all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl..
- Heat Oil in a large frying pan or wok, cook Pork and Vegetables and season with Salt and Pepper. Once the Pork is cooked, add Udon Noodles and toss and mix all well. Add the sauce, toss and mix to combine well..
- Sprinkle Katsuobushi (Bonito Flakes) and chopped Spring Onion on top and enjoy..
This is a very quick and simple udon recipe and so delicious. The recipe is written to make either Pork Yaki Udon or Prawn Yaki Udon. Start by bringing a large pot of water to a boil. If using dried noodles, cook according to package instructions. Drain, rinse in cold water to remove excess starch, and drain thoroughly again.
